Join us on May 30th for our 8th annual Lancaster Health Summit. Held this year at the PA College of Health Sciences, the Health Summit is a partnership between the Central Penn Business Group on Health and LiveWell Lancaster. It is designed to bring together the business community and other community partners to promote better health in our community. Each year, we focus on a different aspect of health and tie the issue to community resources available to affect change. Our focus in 2019 is impacting the social determinants of health. Event details include a keynote presentation from Kristi Durazo from the American Heart Association, data detailing the issues in our community and breakout sessions designed to help us impact change.
In addition to providing attendees with insights into how the social determinants affect overall health, we will also be presenting the annual Well Workplace Awards. Awards will go to both large and small employers in our community who have focused on improving the health of their workforce as demonstrated through their completed CDC scorecard.
The event also features exhibitor opportunities for those organizations looking to connect with employers and the social services community in our region.
